The challenges
Director of Duco, John McRae, quickly recognised the benefits that unified online marketing would deliver for their business.
The website for each event was always seen as a key part of the marketing strategy and included strategic information on the value of the event, speakers, programmes and ways to book.
In order to capitalise on the success of the website and to deliver additional value to their business Duco started utilising uSuite.
The Solution
A key opportunity for Duco was to streamline the booking process. Previously registrants were required to download and print a PDF form, complete it and then mail or fax it back. This created a barrier to entry for registrants and made it difficult for Duco to get real-time visibility of the number of registrants and the number of remaining places. It was also time consuming.
Using uSuite Event, Duco can now design the event online and then place the registration form to their website without downloading software, coding or scripts.
This makes it easier for people to register for events, means Duco can get up to the minute status information and makes it easier to manage.
Apart from adding the uSuite Event form to their website they also send the registration form out using uSuite Mail. People simply click the link in the email to register for the event. And they can also use uSuite Mail to send email to those who have received an email but have yet to register.
Using uSuite Mail means Duco are able to send targeted email messages to recipients and add a call to action directly to the message. uSuite Mail ties it all together and provides a single view of customer - automatically.
Duco also added a uSuite Refer to their website to encourage website visitors to refer like minded friends and colleagues to an event. uSuite Refer adds an 'Email to a Friend' function to the event website which encourages referrals.
Because all of the uSuite products can be fully customised to match the Sculpt brand website visitors believe that the uSuite products are part of the website.
The Outcome
Duco can access a range of marketing products from one place and with a single username and password. And because all the uSuite products work in the same way it means they don't need to access multiple websites to perform the functions they need.
Using a Unified Online Marketing Solution means that Duco are able to deliver additional value such as adding a uSuite Event to their email marketing and watching people register in real-time.
uSuite is now a core part of the Duco organisation and their events and is one reason why Duco continues to go from strength to strength.
